I am a high-energy person who thrives on growth and exploration. Balancing family, work, and personal life energizes me, helping me learn, develop new ideas, and keep me moving forward toward my goals.

I am the proud father of four amazing people and a lucky husband to one incredible lady who (mostly) keeps me in line.

I have founded, co-founded, grown, bought, and sold multiple companies focused on Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Investor Relations, Marketing Automation, Investment Portfolio & Research Management, High-Frequency Trading, Customer Success, and Document Management. I have also served as CEO, President, or Board Director of software companies, helping to grow and sell them.

My current pursuits focus on Strategy Consulting to growth-stage companies, Outdoor Recreation, Experiential Hospitality & Entertainment, and teaching at The University of Chicago School of Business.

I enjoy advising and investing in emerging and growth-stage technology-centric companies. The challenge of helping them with strategy and best practices for acquiring and serving customers helps me to keep learning and exploring new ideas.

When I am not working or trying to keep up with my family, you will find me biking, hiking, reading a book, puzzling over business problems, volunteering, performing, teaching, or wandering around the woods.
